My family and I were starting to seriously regret getting our German Shepherd puppy, Millie.  We were at a total loss with her horrible behavior!  It was truly amazing at how quickly things turned around with Karen's guidance.  There was a huge difference even after the very first session!  Karen taught me, the owner, just as much as she taught our dog!  She gave me the insight on how dogs think, and she was spot on!  I am happy to say that today our Millie has great manners and can do lots of tricks just for fun!  Karen has such a gift with people and animals.  I would recommend her whole heartedly to anyone that needs guidance with their animals!  She's a game changer!

Karen has a special way with dogs.  My dog Ava was extremely shy and reserved.  Everything was new and overwhelming, but it didn't take her long to warm up to Karen.  We signed up for three private training sessions. Ava has come out of her shell, is full of confidence and has learned basic manners including sit, stay, down, wait, leave it and drop it.  The handouts were very helpful to use with our "homework" each week.  Thank you, Karen, for sharing your special gift with us.

Karen was great to work with,

and extremely patient with my high-strung

dog.  Her love for dogs and her job is obvious,

and I highly recommend her!

In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semihuman. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.

Karen started working with our puppy, Dixie, when she was about four months old. She not only trained our puppy, she trained us, too. Her methods work! She is so patient and calm, arrives with treats and toys to keep her attention and teaches her good manners. She consulted with us to see what our goals were and what was most important to us. That formed the basis for Dixie's training. Karen taught the puppy, showed us the technique and verbal cues and then supervised us implementing the training. She always gave us plenty of written material, too, that we could refer to between training sessions. Karen is the reason we enjoy Dixie so much. Before we made the decision to get another puppy, we called Karen to make sure she had time to train the new one! She walked us through the process of getting Dixie to accept and befriend the new puppy. We are happy to say that Karen is training our new puppy, and he's now a joy to have around. It helps to have Dixie lead by example.
