Karen was great to work with,

and extremely patient with my high-strung

dog.  Her love for dogs and her job is obvious,

and I highly recommend her!

My family and I were starting to seriously regret getting our German Shepherd puppy, Millie.  We were at a total loss with her horrible behavior!  It was truly amazing at how quickly things turned around with Karen's guidance.  There was a huge difference even after the very first session!  Karen taught me, the owner, just as much as she taught our dog!  She gave me the insight on how dogs think, and she was spot on!  I am happy to say that today our Millie has great manners and can do lots of tricks just for fun!  Karen has such a gift with people and animals.  I would recommend her whole heartedly to anyone that needs guidance with their animals!  She's a game changer!

Look for the things your dog is doing "right" and praise and reward him for it!  Dogs will repeat what works for them, and if your dog is having fun and earning rewards, he will want to continue to learn!

Karen has a special way with dogs.  My dog Ava was extremely shy and reserved.  Everything was new and overwhelming, but it didn't take her long to warm up to Karen.  We signed up for three private training sessions. Ava has come out of her shell, is full of confidence and has learned basic manners including sit, stay, down, wait, leave it and drop it.  The handouts were very helpful to use with our "homework" each week.  Thank you, Karen, for sharing your special gift with us.

In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semihuman. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.
